Kanaka Rose Care & Handling

"Proper care and handling can double or even triple the life of a rose"

The following tips will help you achieve the best results from your fresh-cut roses, and ensure lasting enjoyment…

Step 1: Use a clean vase
Add fresh, room-temperature water to your container.

Step 2: Hydrate
Add cut-flower food (Chrysal R.V.B., or an equivalent hydrating solution)

Step 3: Re-Cut Stems
Trim approximately one inch off the bottom of each stem with a sharp knife or shears at a 45 degree angle.

Step 4: Remove leaves
Remove any foliage, which will be under water.  This will help prevent any bacteria growth.

Step 5:  Daily Maintenance
Add fresh water daily.  Completely replace the water approximately every 3 days.  Keep your roses in a cool place, away from any heat source.
